Practice background
Liverpool Medical Centre is a mix billing medical centre first established in 1975 and moved to its current site in 1996. It has become a small to medium sized medical centre and caters for a wide cross section of society.
The practice provides antenatal shared care. The doctors have an interest in diabetic and pre diabetic patients from various ethnic backgrounds especially Indian, Fijian Indian and South Asian. The practice has a multidisciplinary team approach to help our chronic disease patients and have services of podiatrist, dietician, and practice nurse. The surgery liaise with different clinics and with local specialists.
For mental health patients the surgery has the services of a number of counsellors.
We at Liverpool Medical Centre also encourage all forms of preventative medicine proactively.

PRACTICE POLICY
Our friendly reception staff are available to help you out in any way. Our Liverpool practice nurse is available five mornings and three afternoons per week and our Green Valley nurse is available one morning per week. All our staff have experience in a medical environment and are committed to your welfare. Liverpool Medical Centre has been providing comprehensive general medical care since 1975.
Management of Personal Health Information: Your medical record is a confidential document. It is a policy of our practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of our staff. This practice will make sure that you are able to discuss your health in private with your doctor. Personal information that identifies you will be sent to other people only with your informed consent.
Reminder System: Our practice is committed to preventative care. Your doctor will seek your permission to be included on our reminder system. We may issue you with a reminder notice from tie to time offering you preventative health service appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be a part of this system, please let your doctoc or receptionist know.
